My Responses Blade Runner 2049 - a gigantic spectacle of pure hallucinatory craziness: I agree with some of the content in this article even though I didn't quite engage with the narrative. I found the film quite confusing probably because I haven't seen the first film, however the film was visually appealing. The editing and cinematography made the film entertaining and also I loved the though process behind some of the shots. For example, my favourite shots were of the water reflections on the walls and props because it was  aesthetically pleasing.  Blade Runner 2049 - a future classic: This article really talked about setting in depth and how it started off where the first film ended but had some excellent futuristic aspects. I agree with the fact that lighting was 'beautifully low-key' which contributed to the dark atmosphere and enhanced the lighting from the advertisements and holograms. Film Industry: BBFC film regulation

1) Research the  BBFC  in more detail: what is the institution responsible for? How is it funded? What link does it have to government? The British Board of Film Classification is responsible for the classification of videos under the Video Recording Act 1984. The BBFC is not a profit organisation, and it's fees are adjusted only to cover it's costs. The BBFC never recieves subsidies from either the film industry or the government. Their income is solely rom the fees they charge for their services which is calculated by measuring the running time of films or DVDs submitted for classification. The BBFC has to consult with the Department of Culture, Media and Sport before making any changes to it's fees. 2) Read this  BBFC guide to how films are rated . Summarise the process in 50 words. Feedback given by me Tiago WWW:   Good use of text at the beginning of the video, The music matched the pace of the video, The setting was good because you had a plain background so there were no distractions. EBI:   if makeup artist wasn't covering the model's face at times and the ending where the camera zoomed in and out was more smooth. Annya WWW:  Very good editing because I couldn't tell that there were different shots, loved the change from fast pace to slow motion as I wasn't expecting that. EBI:   Similar to Tiago,  try to make the camera work a bit more smooth when zooming out. Aran WWW:   The editing was really advanced, a range of effects and transitions used, the music went well with the video, good choice to zoom in on a portrait filmed video!, nicely used slow motion at the end so it gives the audience time to look at the detail of the make up.
