updated statement of intent 25/4/19

Statement of Intent: My aim is to tell a story about a stereotypical teenage Asian girl who struggles to believe that her best friend has passed away which will be conveyed through a film trailer and three film posters. My trailer will show the journey of how two best friends enjoy their time together until the equilibrium is disrupted by one of the girls dying in a car accident. The story from then will show how the main character struggles to cope with the pain and loss of her best friend and resorts to consuming alcohol and taking drugs. The alcohol and drugs help suppress her feelings, however, even after her friend’s death, she continues to see her best friend around as if she were alive. The protagonist taking this dramatic step will lead to the  new equilibrium  where her best friend  (the Hero, Propp’s)  will help the protagonist  (the princess, Propp’s)  and stop her from taking drugs/alcohol and help her get closure.
